We are devoted to making each player meet his or her greatest potential. Our coaches have extensive backgrounds and the knowledge to help improve the ability of tennis players at all levels. Through clinics, junior programs and individual teaching, players are able to get the necessary attention to exceed their personal goals.
Erick Chall
Director of Tennis
Erick was raised in the Clearwater area and started his tennis career playing during high school. He then began working for Killearn Country Club as a Tennis Professional while achieving his degree in Sports Management for Florida State.
Erick has revitalized numerous tennis programs at a variety of clubs in the area.
He has over 20 years of experience leading tennis programs and developing new approaches to tennis training. He has a great passion for tennis and loves to teach. His teaching programs teach players how to rise to the highest level through a strong work ethic and determination. Players learn the importance of combining skill with athletic endurance and strength. Erick is USPTA & USRSA Certified as well as a Certified National Tournament Director.
Jorge Bernal
Head Pro
Jorge Bernal is originally from La Paz, Bolivia and grew up locally since 1987. “My father played tennis, my grandfather played tennis and it was passed on to me that’s how I fell in love with the game.”
Jorge was a top ten Florida men’s open player competing nationally and Florida ranked number one 5.0 player. Currently Jorge is a 5.0 USTA rated player. Additionally, he has served as a sparing and practice partner to many ATP and WTA players.
Since 2008 he has extensive experience coaching elite nationally ranked juniors and advanced players. He has also served as head coach to numerous adult USTA teams. He’s currently USPTA Certified and PTR Pickleball Certified.

Dan Mielke
Tennis Pro
Dan is a USPT certified tennis instructor and was a child and adolescent counselor for over 20 years. He attended Towson University in Maryland on a golf scholarship and has worked with children for the majority of his career. His attention turned to tennis in 2006 while completing the requirements for the professional golf management program when his friend and mentor suggested that he would be a great tennis coach. He took his advice and has been teaching tennis ever since.
He has worked in many programs and was the director of a junior academy in Florida for 7 years. Dan has coached both high school and college tennis teams, most recently Tampa Preparatory School and Lancaster Bible College.
His passion truely is teaching and you will see this when you’re out on the court with him.
Dan enjoys kayaking, playing the piano, wildlife photography and of course playing golf and tennis.
